In communities, we put so much effort into onboarding members. But nobody talks about the exit. At Generalist World, we’d like to change this!

There’s a myriad of reasons you may choose to exit the Generalist World community. This page serves as a process to review and manage subscription, and help you leave with (hopefully!) really positive memories.

First things first. I am so, so grateful for your membership. Because of you, we have:

• 400+ members from around the world

• Funded 20+ scholarship places

• Helped 50+ people land jobs

• Been able to hire 5+ contract writers from the GW community

• Created job opportunities for two people living in rural areas in Scotland

  

• Hosted IRL events, bringing 100’s of people together in the USA, UK, South Africa, Holland, and Australia.

• Donated to organisations like Protect Our Winters, The Trevor Project, and World Central Kitchen

• Formed partnerships with academic institutions like the University of St Andrews and the London School of Economics to help inspire the next generation of generalists

• We helped not only members, but generalists around the world via content and public events thanks to your membership

And, on a personal note, Generalist World has completely, unequivocally, changed my life. I’ve never had the chance to work on something more personally meaningful, and I’m extremely grateful for the chance to build something that’s really making a dent in people’s lives.
